CAC 40 (CAC) moved more or less horizontally on vendredi and closed at 8022 points (-0.0 percent). For the week as a whole the index showed only a slight change of +0.1%.

LOreal (OR) ended with a solid gain of 5.0 percent and closed at 445 euro. L'action has never gained more in one day since janvier 4. 2023, when it was up 5.2 percent. Technically it also looks good. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated. Sanofi (SAN) closed at 86.89 euro after a solid gain of 1.9 percent. The previous time l'action gained this much was novembre 8. 2023, when it closed up 2.0 percent. Kering SA (KER) lost 0.4 percent to 339 euro. We must go back to octobre 2017 to find a lower close for l'action. L'action has thereby closed down eight out of the past nine days. It does not look good technically either. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term, has broken down through the support at 347 euro and a further decline is indicated. Schneider Electric SE (SU) ended with a steep loss of 3.2 percent and closed at 208 euro. The previous time l'action lost this much was mai 24. 2023, when it closed down 3.4 percent. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term. Edenred SE (EDEN) fell sharply to close at 43.71 euro, down 6.9 percent. We must go back to février 21 to find an equally steep drop. That time l'action lost 11.5 percent. The volume was also high. At session end it was bought and sold shares for about 83 million euro in l'action, which equals three times mean daily turnover. Nor technically does it look good. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 48.60 euro and a further decline is indicated. 18 shares showed a gain and 15 showed a loss. 2 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 0 shares. LOreal (OR) was the share that performed the best. The share rose 5.0 percent and closed at 444.9. Sanofi (SAN), up 1.9 percent, Orange. (ORA), up 1.6 percent, and Pernod Ricard SA (RI), up 0.9 percent, were the other leading winners. Edenred SE (EDEN) was the share that performed the poorest. The share showed a total loss of 6.9 percent and closed at 43.7. Schneider Electric SE (SU), Renault SA (RNO) and Publicis Groupe SA (PUB) also performed very poorly, with losses of 3.2, 2.2 and 1.3 percent, respectively. The most active shares were LOreal (OR), with a turnover of 388 million and Schneider Electric SE (SU), with a turnover of 279 million. BNP Paribas SA (BNP) and Airbus SE (AIR) were also heavily traded, with a turnover of 178 and 165 million respectively. Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates vendredi was approximately 3.2 billion. |
