Hausse

Hausse-Indizes geben das Verhältnis zwischen Unternehmen, die kürzlich ein Kaufsignal erzeugt haben, und der Gesamtzahl aller Unternehmen an. Der Index kann Werte zwischen 0 und 100 annehmen, wobei 0 darauf hinweist, dass für alle Titel ein Verkaufssignal aufgetreten ist, während 100 bedeutet, dass für alle Titel zuletzt ein Kaufsignal ergangen ist. Hohe Werte (90 oder mehr) gelten als Hinweis auf einen überhitzten Markt, der in naher Zukunft eine starke Gegenreaktion/Wende erwarten lässt. Dementsprechend gelten niedrige Werte (unter 10) als Zeichen dafür, dass ein verbreiteter Verkaufsdruck bald beendet sein wird und die Kurse wieder anziehen werden.

Es werden drei verschiedene Hausse-Indizes berechnet, einer für jede der drei Handelsstrategien Kurzfristige Trading-Range, Langfristige Trading-Range und Gleitender Durchschnitt. Die Trading-Range-Strategien erzeugen ein Kaufsignal, wenn der Kurs über das vorherige Hoch steigt. In der Gleitenden-Durchschnitt-Strategie erfolgt ein Kaufsignal dann, wenn ein kurzfristiger Durchschnitt über einen langfristigen Durchschnitt steigt.
