Strong gains on London Stock Exchange

The market rallied Friday, and
FTSE 100 closed at 5901 points after an increase of 1.81 percent. For the week as a whole the index showed a gain of 2.9%.

DB X-TRACKERS showed a negative development and ended the day at 2458 pence, which is a decline of 0.97 percent. The stock thereby broke the previous low from Apr 2011 and set a new low. It was also extremely high volume. Overall it was traded for 1079 millions pence in the stock, which is 63 times as much as normal daily turnover. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term.

RIO TINTO with a turnover of 25111 million,
VODAFONE GROUP, with a turnover of 22124 million, and
XSTRATA PLC, with a turnover of 20438 million. Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Friday was approximately 547.8 billion.
