The market moved up Thursday, and Bel20 ended at 3827 points, which is an increase of 0.8 percent.

Lotus Bakeries NV moved up and ended at 9010 euro, which is an increase of 1.6 percent. The stock has not closed higher since Feb 19. The stock triggered a buy signal by the break up through the resistance at 8990 euro in inverse head and shoulders formation. A further increase to 9420 euro within two months is indicated.
Melexis NV developed negatively and fell 2.1 percent to a close of 71.25 euro. The stock has now fallen for the sixth day in a row. It does not look good technically either. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.
KBC Groupe NV developed positively, and gained 2.0 percent to a close of 70.00 euro. We must go back to Mar 2023 to find a higher close for the stock. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
Solvay SA closed at 30.65 euro after a gain of 2.9 percent. The stock therby broke above the 30.00 -mark for the first time since Dec 2023. The stock has thereby closed up 17 out of the past 22 days and this past month the stock has gained as much as 31.9 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
AVANTIUM fell sharply to close at 2.42 euro, down 6.0 percent. The stock has never lost more in one day since Feb 6, when it was down 7.0 percent.

AEX-index moved more or less horizontally on Thursday and closed at 865 points (+0.0 percent).

US 500 falls for the fifth day in a row
The market showed a small loss Thursday, and S&P 500 ended the day at 5011 points, which is a decline of 0.2 percent. The index has now closed down for the fifth day in a row and this past week the index has lost as much as 3.6 percent.
