CAC 40 weakly higher jeudi |
The market showed a small gain jeudi, and CAC 40 (CAC) ended the day at 8023 points, which is an increase of 0.5 percent.

Schneider Electric SE (SU) ended with a solid gain of 2.8 percent and closed at 215 euro. L'action has never gained more in one day since novembre 9. 2023, when it was up 8.3 percent. L'action has thereby closed up six out of the past seven days. Technically it also looks good. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 166 euro and a further increase is indicated. Edenred SE (EDEN) closed at 46.94 euro after posting a gain of 4.9 percent. L'action has never gained more in one day since mars 9. 2022, when it was up 6.6 percent. Technically, however, it does not look good. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 48.70 euro and a further decline is indicated. Renault SA (RNO) increased slightly 1.1 percent and ended the day at 48.82 euro. L'action has thereby closed up 24 out of the past 30 days. Technically it also looks good. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 43.70 euro and a further increase is indicated. Sanofi (SAN) showed a negative development and ended the day at 85.23 euro, which is a decline of 1.1 percent. L'action thereby broke the earlier bottom it set février 13 and reached a new year-low. It does not look good technically either. L'action has marginally broken down through the support at 85.70 euro. Capgemini SE (CAP) declined slightly 0.9 percent and ended the day at 201 euro. L'action has now closed down for the fifth day in a row. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term. 28 shares showed a gain and 7 showed a loss. 0 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 0 shares. Alstom SA (ALO) was the share that performed the best. The share rose 5.7 percent and closed at 15.1. Edenred SE (EDEN), up 4.9 percent, Schneider Electric SE (SU), up 2.8 percent, and Veolia Environnement S.A. (VIE), up 2.5 percent, were the other leading winners. Thales (HO) was the share that performed the poorest. The share showed a total loss of 1.2 percent and closed at 155.3. Sanofi (SAN), Capgemini SE (CAP) and Hermes International (RMS) also performed very poorly, with losses of 1.1, 0.9 and 0.7 percent, respectively. The most active shares were Schneider Electric SE (SU), with a turnover of 254 million and BNP Paribas SA (BNP), with a turnover of 178 million. Sanofi (SAN) and LOreal (OR) were also heavily traded, with a turnover of 155 and 142 million respectively. Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates jeudi was approximately 2.7 billion. |
