CAC 40 falls on mardi
The marked showed a negative development mardi, and CAC 40 (CAC) ended the day at 7985 points, which is a decline of 1.0 percent. Overall avril showed a loss of 2.7%.
 

AXA (CS) ended with a steep loss of 5.1 percent and closed at 32.44 euro. We must go back to mars 15. 2023 to find an equally steep drop. That time l'action lost 5.1 percent. It does, however, look good technically. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.

Hermes International (RMS) developed negatively and fell 2.0 percent to a close of 2251 euro. L'action has not closed lower since février 21. L'action has thereby closed down 16 out of the past 22 days. L'action triggered a sell signal by the break down through the support at 2271 euro in formation tête-épaules. A further drop to 2138 euro within three months is indicated.

Capgemini SE (CAP) closed at 198 euro after a steep drop of 3.7 percent. The previous time l'action lost this much was juillet 28. 2023, when it closed down 7.0 percent. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term.

Renault SA (RNO) fell sharply to close at 46.74 euro, down 5.5 percent. L'action has never lost more in one day since octobre 19. 2023, when it was down 7.3 percent. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term.

Bouygues SA (EN) fell sharply to close at 34.61 euro, down 5.3 percent. We must go back to novembre 17. 2022 to find an equally steep drop. That time l'action lost 6.5 percent. Technically, however, it looks good. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.

5 shares showed a gain and 29 showed a loss. 2 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 0 shares.

Sanofi (SAN) was the share that performed the best. The share rose 1.4 percent and closed at 93.1. LOreal (OR), up 0.7 percent, Veolia Environnement S.A. (VIE), up 0.6 percent, and Engie SA (ENGI), up 0.1 percent, were the other leading winners. Renault SA (RNO) was the share that performed the poorest. The share showed a total loss of 5.5 percent and closed at 46.7. Bouygues SA (EN), AXA (CS) and Teleperformance (TEP) also performed very poorly, with losses of 5.3, 5.1 and 4.5 percent, respectively.

The most active shares were AXA (CS), with a turnover of 229 million and Sanofi (SAN), with a turnover of 189 million. Schneider Electric SE (SU) and LOreal (OR) were also heavily traded, with a turnover of 164 and 163 million respectively.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates mardi was approximately 3.2 billion.
