Vi skal se på praktisk bruk av forskningsbaserte, kvantitative modeller, og hvordan man benytter en regelstyrt tilnærming for å oppnå best mulig avkastning. Nøkkelen er å være systematisk og nøyaktig, og basere seg på fakta istedenfor følelser.

Kveldens foredragsholdere er Thomas Nielsen fra FIRST Fondene, Investtechs forskningssjef Geir Linløkken, Karl Oscar Strøm, som er hedgefondforvalter i Paleo Capital, og forvalter i Investtech Invest, Mads Grønstad.

Thomas Nielsen har arbeidet som porteføljeforvalter i FIRST Fondene siden 2019. Han kom til FIRST med 15 års erfaring som forvalter og analytiker. Thomas skal ta oss gjennom hvordan man investerer faktabasert, metodisk og disiplinert.
Geir Linløkken stiftet Investtech.com AS i 1997 og er i dag selskapets forskningssjef. Linløkken har arbeidet med behavioral finance og automatiske systemer for visuell teknisk analyse siden 1993, og i 2001 skrev han boken "Teknisk AksjeAnalyse - for lavere risiko og økt avkastning". Geir går gjennom Investtech-forskning fra våren 2021 og de tekniske indikatorene som gir statistisk størst sannsynlighet for å oppnå meravkastning i aksjemarkedet.
Karl Oscar Strøm er forfatter av boken "Paleo Trading: How to trade like a Hunter-Gatherer" og forvalter av hedgefondet Paleo Fund AIF AS. Han har arbeidet i bransjen siden 1996. Karl Oscar vil gå nærmere inn på fondsforvaltning som en jeger og samler - praktisk bruk av ulike tradingstrategier.
Mads Grønstad presenterer investeringer i praksis ved bruk av forskningsbaserte kvantitative modeller. Mads har arbeidet i Investtech siden 2013 og er i dag forvalter i fondet Investtech Invest.
