Vær varsom med lottoaksjene

Aksjer som svinger mye, og der oppsidepotensialet er stort, kan gi eventyrlig avkastning om man lykkes. Investtech-forskning har imidlertid vist at disse aksjene i gjennomsnitt har utviklet seg svært dårlig. Vi ser på aksjene som klassifiseres som lottoaksjer på Oslo Børs nå.

Lottoaksjer er en benevnelse på aksjer som svinger mye, der kursen drives av nyheter med avgjørende betydning for selskapet.  Vil du ha mulighet for å doble pengene dine på en uke, så er det slike aksjer du skal kjøpe. De kan doble seg, men de kan også halvere seg, eller til og med gå konkurs. Klassisk finansteori (for eksempel ved bruk av CAPM-modellen) sier at slike aksjer, som har høyere risiko enn andre aksjer, skal bli fulgt av en høyere gjennomsnittlig avkastning enn andre aksjer. Ser vi på hvordan aksjemarkedet faktisk har fungert, og ikke teorien, finner vi noe helt annet.

Basert på forskningen, anbefaler vi å være varsom med lottoaksjer og andre aksjer som svinger mye. Vi anbefaler i normaltilfeller å holde seg helt unna aksjer med Ekstrem risiko, samt være varsom med aksjer med Høy risiko. Investtech klassifiserer aksjer med månedsvolatilitet over 40 prosent som Ekstrem risiko, og de mellom 20 og 40 prosent som Høy risiko.

Alle aksjene som karakteriseres som lottoaksjer, kan finnes med verktøyet Aksjeutvelgelse ved å sette volatilitet fra 40 og oppover. Aksjeutvelgelse er tilgjengelig for abonnenter på Professional- og Institutional-nivå.

Det er i dag 58 aksjer på Oslo Børs som har ekstrem risiko og anses som lottoaksjer.

De tre aksjene med høyest svingninger på Oslo Børs akkurat nå er:

1. Solstad Offshore (SOFF.OL) Siste sluttkurs: 7.83 (+0.05), 4. feb 2021

2. Borr Drilling (BORR.OL) Siste sluttkurs: 8.18 (+0.08), 4. feb 2021

3. Zenith Energy (ZENA.OL) Siste sluttkurs: 0.13 (0.00), 4. feb 2021
