Helsingin pörssi rises on Friday

The market moved up Friday, and OMX Helsinki ended at 9835 points, which is an increase of 1.1 percent. For the week as a whole the index showed only a slight change of -0.0 percent.

109 shares showed a gain and 59 showed a loss. 12 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 1 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Friday was approximately 0.6 billion.

Wärtsilä B moved up and ended at 17.40 euro, which is an increase of 11.4 percent. The stock thereby broke the previous record from Oct 2017 and set a new all time high. The stock has thereby closed up 15 out of the past 19 days. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 44 millions euro in the stock, which is three times as much as normal daily turnover. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 13.20 euro and a further increase is indicated.
Kemira closed at 19.20 euro after posting a gain of 12.2 percent. The previous time the stock gained this much was Oct 25. 2022, when it closed up 13.9 percent. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 11 millions euro in the stock, which is six times as much as normal daily turnover. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 17.50 euro and a further increase is indicated.
Kone closed up 2.9 percent to 45.27 euro. We must go back to Jul 2023 to find a higher close for the stock. This past week the stock has gained as much as 5.5 percent. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has marginally broken up through resistance at 45.20 euro and a further increase is indicated.
Qt Group rose sharply to close at 73.30 euro, up 8.4 percent. We must go back to Feb 16 to find an equally strong rise. That time the stock gained 15.4 percent. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
Orion B gained 1.3 percent to 35.85 euro. This past week the stock has gained as much as 10.6 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock has broken up through resistance at 35.00 euro.
