The stock broke down through the support at 77.28 in rectangle formation. This triggered a sell signal on increasing volume and a further drop to 73.15 within four months is indicated.
TC Energy rose sharply to close at 51.44 , up 3.3 percent. The previous time the stock gained this much was Jul 31. 2023, when it closed up 4.4 percent. Technically it also looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has broken up through resistance at 50.70 and a further increase is indicated.
Royal Bank Of Canada ended with a solid gain of 1.9 percent and closed at 138 . We must go back to Feb 14 to find an equally strong rise. That time the stock gained 2.0 percent. The stock triggered a buy signal by the break up through the resistance at 136 in double bottom formation. A further increase to 140 within three weeks is indicated.
OpenText crashed and ended the day at 41.38 , which is a drop of 14.8 percent. The stock has never lost more in one day since we started measuring this Jan 1. 2013. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 130 millions in the stock, which is seven times as much as normal daily turnover. It does not look good technically either. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 44.60 and a further decline is indicated.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. was up 10.7 percent to close at 18.58 . We must go back to Oct 2023 to find a higher close for the stock. This past month the stock has gained as much as 22.5 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
